Awkward Auntie features unique concrete pieces of home decor dyed and poured by Sarah Miller. What initially started as a blog to share her thoughts and experiences as an auntie turned into a different kind of creative outlet in the second half of 2018 when she began using cement as her medium to create fun planters and candles for herself, friends and family. It was her friends and family who encouraged her to sell her pieces.
As the brand has grown, she has found passion in finding new designs and experimenting with colors, patterns and fun details like crystal accents. (The crystal accents were a total accident, by the way!) Nearly every piece is dyed by hand, which means no piece can ever be the same.These small pieces of decor are great for any space - like your office or home - and make wonderful gifts.
